Powerful Challenger crawlers are built to work hard and a second-hand machine can tick all the right boxes. Check our listings to find a great used deal on a Challenger rubber-tracked crawler. Challenger was the name given to a high horsepower rubber-tracked crawler first introduced by Caterpillar in America in 1987 and which soon evolved into a range of Challenger machines, including smaller row crop models built in Canada. During the late 1990s the Challenger tractors were sold in Europe in Claas colours. In 2002 Caterpillar sold the Challenger brand and tractor range to AGCO who then used the Challenger brand name on the crawlers and other machinery. In 2018 the Challenger name disappeared in Europe in place of Fendt colours and branding.
