The ground-breaking Stoneless ATV-Stone-Collector™ is now introduced in the UK and Ireland backed up by a network of dealerships. Stoneless turns tiresome rock picking and stone removal into an easy task, and the manufacturer has high expectations.

Stoneless is a trailed stone collector that is attached to an ATV. Via a control box on the handlebar of the ATV, the operator can raise and lower the shovel and pick up stones with a diameter of 6-50cm. Via the special rotor arm, the stones are conveyed to the robust tip tray, which can hold up to 500kg.

All the work takes place with the operator seated on the ATV, and Stoneless is equipped with four wide wheels that protect the sprouting crops in the field. You can therefore drive on the field and pick up stones in almost all conditions.

Large capacity and simple to use

The capacity for Stoneless is high. Depending on the number of stones, the operator can manage 5-10 hectares per hour. Compared to the traditional solution with a tractor and backhoe or loader, experience shows that one employee can overcome what previously required three.

– Stoneless is incredibly easy to use. It takes a moment to connect it to an ATV, and then you are ready to pick rocks and collect stones, said Søren Kristensen, inventor and manager of Stoneless ApS. He continued: “The shovel is very flexible, and you can easily fit the collection of stones into your daily routines, even if you only have an hour or two at your disposal.”

Further, the construction is robust. Stoneless is made of strong, galvanized steel and is designed for long-term use. The construction is simple, and should an accident occur, it is easy to repair.

Market launch in the UK and Ireland

Stoneless has been on the Danish market for four years, and over 300 items have been sold to Danish farmers. The solution has also been sold in the UK and Ireland and the reactions have been so positive that Stoneless is ready for a large-scale introduction.

“I am convinced there is a great potential, states Søren Kristensen. There is a need for flexible solutions that not only address the challenges of finding qualified labour but also make stone collection an easy activity that you can always find time for.

“This is why we have worked purposefully to build a competent dealer network. Now it is in place, and we are looking forward to offering farmers an everyday life without the hard work of removing stones in the field,” said Søren Kristensen.

It began with hard work in the fields

The story of Stoneless began with Søren Kristensen helping to collect stones on the family’s farm. Year after year, stones had to be removed from the fields by hand. It was tiring, and it should be done smarter, he thought.

The result was the Stoneless ATV-Stone-Collector™, which is clamped behind an ATV and makes the collection of stones much faster and easier for the farmer.

“Nothing has happened in the field of stone collection in the last several years. We therefore believe that Stoneless is a ground-breaking solution with enormous potential,” concluded Søren Kristensen.
