Ag-drive, the new digital app helping agricultural contractors and farmers to manage their business more effectively, is now even easier to use thanks to the release of significant updates to the desktop dashboard and app, made in response to user feedback.

 Launched in summer 2021 and developed by farmer and contractor Will Dunn and his father, Ag-drive replaces time-consuming paperwork with digital timesheets, field mapping, job recording for teams of any size, health and safety checks, and integrations with common accounting software for easy invoicing.

 “Getting feedback from our users was incredibly important for us to continue the development of Ag-drive. We knew that there were parts of the app that could work better, but we needed to hear from our customers to ensure we made the right changes to meet the needs of their businesses,” says Will Dunn, founder of Ag-drive.

 “The most significant change we’ve made is to remove the need for users to enter their credit card details to start a 14-day trial of Ag-drive. This makes it really easy for contractors and farm businesses to see for themselves how much time they could save by switching to a digital system before committing themselves.”

 The screens on desktop and app versions have been re-designed to make Ag-drive simpler and faster to use, and bulk actions can now be processed, saving even more time.

 Other changes have made it easier to manage customer information and invoicing. Users can now add customers without having to specify a customer email address and the platform supports bulk imports of customer data to save time when setting up accounts.

 “As contractors and farmers, we knew there was a better way than operators manually completing timesheets, and then trawling through paperwork to send invoices to our customers. With Ag-drive we’re taking the pain and hassle away from running a busy contracting or farming business, by putting everything on your phone, on a cloud based system,” explains Will.

 All actions can be done on the Ag-drive app, although the desktop version is mainly used for Invoicing and processing time/job sheet information. The platform connects seamlessly with accounting software QuickBooks and Xero for simplified invoicing and record keeping, ensuring customers know exactly what work has been completed and when. Each job sheet can be attached to the invoice for complete transparency. Integration with Sage accounting will be enabled soon.

 Ag-drive’s ambitions aren’t contained to just contracting and farming businesses in the UK.

 “When you sign up to Ag-drive your currency and tax rates are now set according to the country you choose, which means Ag-drive can be used by farm businesses around the world!” says Will.

 After the free trial period expires, users can choose one of four pricing plans depending on the size of their team. Plans start from £10 per month.
