New work lights improve safety and productivity

UTV Products has announced its new range of working lights that use the latest LED technology to improve safety and productivity for machinery operators. The new UTV332 lights can be fitted easily to a wide range of telehandlers, forklifts and front-mounted attachments to provide a much brighter illumination of the working area than standard vehicle lamps.

The new lights feature dual-beam technology that enables both high and low beam to operate simultaneously, providing maximum illumination close to the vehicle as well as at greater distance. Heat management is carefully controlled using heavyweight aluminium heatsinks that ensures the unit does not overheat and has a long working life compared to more common plastic housings.

While LED lights are renowned for their quality, not all are equal. The UTV332’s aspherical lens modules direct the light more accurately at the working area. This results in less light scatter and a crisp, clean and detailed view for the operator. The lights have been developed specifically for driving on the left, complying with all relevant regulations, and feature integrated turn indicators to further enhance road safety.

“We have designed the UTV332 as a set of high-quality lights that can be fitted quickly and easily to a machine’s current wiring system using a straightforward ‘plug-n-play’ approach,” explains Martin Wickes, managing director at UTV Products. “JCB or Manitou models can fit the lights directly, while we supply a simple converter that is required for some German brands, such as Claas.”
